Restaurant marketing in Kraków you can measure in reservations
We do not "build brand awareness". We make sure the person who will sit down somewhere in the next half hour sits down at your place and that you can count it.
Where the decision actually gets made in Kraków
Almost always on a phone, within a few hundred metres of where somebody is standing, fifteen minutes before they walk in. At that moment Search and Google Maps are the entire market. Instagram builds appetite over weeks; Google collects the decision today.
So the running order for a Kraków venue is always the same: Business Profile → Maps → Search → remarketing → everything else. Reversing that order is the most common reason a restaurant "tried marketing and it did not work".
The four things that move the needle
- A Business Profile that looks open. Correct hours, fresh food photos, a menu, replies to reviews. It is the first thing 80% of guests see.
- Maps ads on a tight radius. Showing up exactly when somebody searches "near me", not across the whole city.
- Search campaigns on cuisine and occasion intent. "Sushi Kraków", "steak Kazimierz", "dinner for two".
- A separate English campaign. In the Old Town and Kazimierz that is often 30–50% of demand.
The seasonality generalist agencies miss
Kraków has a hard rhythm: May long weekend, a long tourist season from June to September, a November dip, December corporate bookings, a dead January, Valentine's, then spring terraces. A budget that stays flat for twelve months burns money in February and runs out of reach in July. We plan spend against that calendar, not against an average.
Reviews are part of marketing, not a separate topic
A 4.2 against a 4.7 on the same street is a click-through gap no budget closes. We handle review replies, including automatically, in the reviewer's own language, as we do for Indus Tandoor, where 4- and 5-star reviews get answered daily without the owner touching it.
What we do not do
We do not run Instagram, film reels, or write "5 ideas for an autumn menu" blog posts. If that is what you need, you need a social agency. We will say so immediately rather than take the work and do it badly.
Where we start in a Kraków restaurant
Profile and Maps
Categories, photos, menu, hours, reviews. Before a złoty goes into ads.
Tracking
Calls, reservations and directions as conversions in GA4 and Google Ads.
Local campaign
Tight radius, scheduling around service hours, excluded districts.
Tourist campaign
Separate English ad groups targeting presence in the location.
Remarketing
Returning to people who read the menu and did not book.
Season
Budget planned against the Kraków calendar, not a yearly average.
Questions about venue marketing
Small budget. Where do I start?
Business Profile plus a tight-radius local campaign. It is the cheapest traffic in hospitality. Our clients paid 0.31–0.49 PLN per click. Broader Search comes after that.
Should I advertise on my own restaurant name?
Usually yes, if booking portals bid on your name and intercept a guest you then pay commission on. A brand campaign is cheap and defends traffic that is already yours.
Do you help with food photography?
We do not shoot, but we specify exactly what is needed for the profile and Performance Max: how many, what framing and what to delete. Five-year-old photos cost more than a photographer.
